If you are serious about beer, then you absolutely need a beer fridge. I ended up getting one myself as I was buying enough beers to clog up my regular fridge (and everyone was complaining, “There’s just beer in here!”), and there was just no way I was going to keep those beers somewhere warm. I live in the south of Spain, so during summers you’re going to ruin those beers before you’ve had them. Always keep your beers cold.
I looked at several options before deciding to buy one on Amazon, it was refurbished, so it came at a very competitive price.
Let’s look at some alternatives below:
The Klarstein “PopLife” model is definitely one of the most stylish alternatives out there and is available in 48 or 115 litres, depending on your available space. It also comes in this striking red colour, retro style, that will definitely brighten up your lounge or living room.
This model is very similar to the one I have myself, it’s very compact (it’s a mini bar) and easily stored anywhere in the house, and very silent (25 dB). I have never ever noticed any sound coming from it.
While it is not identical to the model that I have, it seems so similar in terms of specifications and characteristics that I will allow myself to review it as if they were in fact the same.
I have been very satisfied with mine during the 3 years I’ve had it. That being said, I live in a hot place (Malaga, Spain) and I do notice some minor problems with cooling during the summer, why I often end up storing the beers I am going to drink the same day in the regular fridge.
Put on some AC/DC, play it loud, and reach for a cold beer from your Marshall fridge!
This is an absolutely iconic (beer) fridge mimicking the Marshall amplifiers.
